The world-famous fruit cake from the College of the Ozarks intrigued me, and although it wasn't as exceptional as I had hoped, the experience of supporting hardworking students made it worthwhile. If you find yourself in Branson, take the time to visit; the friendly atmosphere and delicious jams are definitely worth it, plus you can grab some fantastic pancake mix to enjoy at home.
