Phones in order said it would be ready in 20 min. Arrived at restaurant 25 min latter and had to wait another 20 min. People who arrived after me were getting better service . The food was ok not great

Takeout service was efficient but food was disappointing. For many years was the best choice in Chwk. Not so now.

we were invited by friends to the "chinese new years" dinner.
what a disappointment!!
10 people per table (only) no more, no less. so the math from the kitchen should be easy, right??
one of the dishes, was ribs.... 8 arrived.....
the meal - decided by the house, for a flat fee consisted of: meat, fish, meat, seafood, meat, meat, meat, finally a sticky rice dish that was NOT nice at all, followed by a noodle dish.
we were amazed at the LACK of any kind of vegetables.
our table happened to be in the back room, talk about COLD....air conditioner blasting (in early february) we had to wear our coats..even after asking for the AC to be turned down. obviously the tables in the front room had more clout, so the temperature was geared to them.
honestly....the food was NOTHING special at all.
back in the day, when the parents ran the restaurant, you got great food, good portions, and you consistently wanted to come back. now that the son and daughter-in-law run the show, the portions have gotten smaller, the prices have increased tremendously, many of the old staff have left, and the quality of food just isn't there.
TOO BAD....it USED to be a good place to have dinner.
