The food and drinks were consistently good, and the prices were much more reasonable compared to other places like Earls. The cozy diner-like atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff, and scenic view made for a memorable dining experience that I would definitely recommend.

Something good always comes out of the bad! We found ourselves evacuated from the White Rock Lake fire from the beginning of August until we still don't know when. Circumstances found us at the KOA campground in Clearwater for over a week as there was no room for Evacuees in our hometown of Vernon when we first arrived. Emergency Service provided us with Vouchers for meals at the Old Caboose Restaurant and Pub for 3 days. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the service was excellent and the food was even better! The staff had to work extremely hard as due to Covid they we're often understaffed but the food still came out piping hot, excellent and plentiful. We never left hungry and usually had food to take home with us. We will definitely return the next time we visit this area, but hopefully not under evacuation order!
