This restaurant, originally named Monte de Oro, moved further up Westchester Avenue and is now called El Pabellon de Oro. I have fond memories of dining here since childhood, and the fusion of Chinese and Spanish cuisine continues to impress me, especially the steak with shrimp fried rice and sweet plantains. While the atmosphere may be average, the food is consistently flavorful and the service is friendly, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal.

The restaurant formerly known as Monte de Oro has relocated to a new spot on Westchester Ave under the name El Pabellon de Oro. The fusion of Chinese and Spanish cuisine at this establishment is truly exceptional, with dishes like steak with shrimp fried rice and sweet plantains that never fail to impress.
