Traditional hamburger with fries - Once again, we have a restaurant with "Burgers" in the name. I went there today and ordered a standard classic burger and fries to go. It was made just as I ordered it, (extra vegetables, I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked) however as it turned out, the worst burger I ever ate. The 1/2 lb. of meat was very dry and had an odd crumbly texture in addition to a very odd taste. Literally, I have never experienced a taste like that in hamburger meat before. One would think that the chefs would taste their cooking on occasion. Why it is so difficult to serve at a restaurant, a hand-made fresh meat burger that is juicy and thick like you make at home, I just don't know. I can't say if the meat used here is previously frozen, but I can say that McDonald's Angus burger is a whole lot better than this $9.00+ hamburger was. The menu also included twin hot dogs for $8.00, assorted sandwiches, a couple of steaks including a $9.00 chicken fried. Their seafood choice is limited to white (mystery) fish, salmon, and fried shrimp. The staff was pleasant and nice, the aquariums are now gone however the TV's are still there unfortunately, (people don't know how to be alone with themselves I guess and need distractions). Personally I like quiet restaurants. Anyway one would think that having the word "burgers" in your restaurant name, you would make sure that your burgers would be the best tasting, freshest, hand made hamburger available. Take a que from this list:
