The ice cream shop where they filmed some movies is full of history, like a puzzle wrapped inside a mystery. I think the vanilla custard is the best option there. It's located inside Bill Gray's and shares space with Abbott's, a Rochester institution. Rochester is the capital of summer picnic cookout food, including great ice cream.
