Lumberjacks, located off Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley, offers a warm and cozy atmosphere with plenty of woodwork and seating options, including a counter for four. The meals come in generous portions, such as the meat-filled omelet with potatoes, crispy hash browns, and fresh biscuits and gravy, complemented by good coffee and attentive service from friendly staff like our waitress Mary. With a variety of breakfast and lunch options, as well as beer, wine, and desserts like chocolate cake, this restaurant provides satisfying dining experiences that make me eager to return.

Definitely don't recommend going to the one in Grass Valley. The only thing worse than the service was the food. After the second time bringing my dinner out because the first plate had an unidentifiable piece of something in it. Then they brought out a Santa Fe skillet with raw potatoes in it. I lost my appetite at this point and had everything boxed up to take home for the dogs since a refund wasn't an option. When l got home the dogs wouldn't even eat it. Never going there again.

Very friendly service, clean dining room, the food is always plentiful and hot and delicious. Very good place to meet with friends or family for a comfort food meal and a nice time.
