The food here consistently delivers authentic Chinese flavors with generous portions and fresh ingredients that never disappoint, whether dining in or taking out. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing quick service in a clean, cozy environment with pleasant background music that allows for easy conversation. After nearly two decades of enjoying their dishes, especially the famous Hunan chicken wings and Mongolian beef, I can confidently say this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Tahoe area and well worth a visit.

First and foremost, the menu on this site is terribly outdated, but you wouldn't know because even if you try to ask/confirm the prices when you call to place a take out order, they still give incorrect information. I called the restaurant to order three "Special Dinners" for pick up and confirmed the listed price of $10.95/person. Whomever took my order over the phone confirmed $10.95/person, so you can imagine my surprise when I arrived to pick up my order and the total was $55.30 -- or $16.95/person. When I told the clerk that the price of $10.95 was confirmed over the phone, she simply laughed and said, "I don't know who took your order and told you that." No apologies, no effort to make it right. The food was fine, but in terms of quantity and quality, it was not worth $55. Sad, because I was excited to support a local small business, but I feel misled and won't be returning.

I've bee going there since I was a child. They still remember me even though I'm in my 30s now. Their food is always filling with plenty of leftovers for the family and/or work. Everything is fresh and crisp, never soggy or dull in flavor. There is so much to chose from. Their Hunan wings are addicting. They are truly the best in Tahoe
