I visited an Italian restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious, but the penne marinara lacked flavor. The portion sizes were just right, and the grilled vegetables were a standout with a variety of fresh ingredients. The linguini with pesto and pine nuts was a highlight of the meal, and despite a slightly frosty welcome from the hostess, the service was polite and attentive.
