The Monte Cristo transported me back to the flavors of Minnesota in the '80s, while the lively atmosphere, attentive service from Kylie, Aubrey, and Joe, and the welcoming vibe for pets made every visit feel like a warm gathering. Between the juicy wings, wood-fired pizzas, and ever-changing specials, this laid-back bar captures the essence of Charleston's charm with every bite and sip.

The food and prices at Lowdown Oven and Bar were fantastic, and I am looking forward to returning. I tried the Monte Cristo, and it reminded me of the ones I used to enjoy back in Minnesota in the 80s. The service from our server Kylie was exceptional, and the option for indoor and outdoor seating was a nice touch. Overall, a great dining experience that I would highly recommend to others.
