SURPRISINGLY DISAPPOINTING. VERY SELDOM HAVE I HAD A POOR EXPERIENCE AT ANY CRACKER BARREL. STARTED OUT BADLY WHEN NO ONE CAME TO TAKE OUR ORDER UNTIL I PUT MY HAND UP AND SPOKE UP. PLACED THE ORDER SWEET TEA, CHICKEN FRIED STEAK, FRIED APPLES, AND CARROTS. TEA WAS AWFUL, TASTED BITTER AND TOO STRONG. CARROTS WERE AWFUL - COLD, MUSHY, TASTELESS - LIKE THEY HAD BEEN BOILDED ALL DAY. APPLES GOOD BUT COLD. CHICKEN FRIED STEAK AND GRAVY REALLY GOOD - HOT AND TASTY, THEY GOT THIS RIGHT. GOT A WAITER, HE BROUGHT A SECOND ORDER OF THE CARROTS - SAME PROBLEM BUT THIS TIME HEATED UP - STILL MUSHY AND TASTELESS. REPLACED THEM WITH GREEN BEANS. THEY WERE GOOD. DISAPPOINTING. HOPE IT WAS JUST A TEMPORARY PROBLEM.

The fact the your company doesn't care enough about your working to allow them prope breaks and want them to wrk double to get one is why I will never return to eat there again

It took a half hour to get a cup of coffee and well over a hour to get the breakfast we ordered. Other tables were seated after us and had finished and left the restaurant long before our food finally was brought to the table. When the Mgr was confronted about the problem all he could do was say he had a new cook and was short handed. Well they weren't short handed with everyone else's order. Instead of apologize for the obvious error and making things right, just nothing but excuses, very unprofessional. However the food was good but everyone was late to work.
