This is my fav ribs place....I've been getting some every year since I was 11 years old for my birthday!!! Today I'm turing 34 12-15-13!!!!

I've been going to George's since e I was a lil Girl and I LOVED them so as an Adult I was still with them but later they haven't been on the ball they ran out of fries no change they say they open at 4:30 and u get they at 5 and they still not open,and yes at one lady is a pistol very rude,but lately they haven't been open,I hope they get they act together soon cuz I'm still a Fan Love Me Some George's when it is cooked da right way,the sauce is the boom,and I always get a small or large tip with extra fries!!!

George's Ribs are the best in the city! I travel from Elgin,ILL when I have a taste for some home cooking! There are NO barbeque restaurants in the Northwest Suburbs that have that charcoal favor! Barbeque in the city of Chicago is great depending on the day of the week, but George's is the BEST!

not that good , on a scale of 1-10 , I GIVE IT A 4, THE LINKS WERE GOOD BUT 4 PIECES FOR 5.00 AND TIPS WERE JUST NOT GOOD

horrible what a rip off 10 bones is considered a full slab of ribs 24 dollars for 10 bones and 4 pieces of cheap white bread are you kidding me what a rip off this place should be closed I will take patio ribs anyday over this shak

I've been going to this little place for years. They have the best prepared ribs in the Chicago area. Take-out only. Certain things must be understood: First, you go there for the food. Not the service, not the ambiance. And second, while the neighborhood is not for the feint of heart, I've seen people from all walks of life, lined up at 11pm on a Saturday night, peacefully co-existing as they wait for their orders. All they want is the food.

the food is pretty good, but the lady that works the counter has a very nasty attitude. Just order your food and stand aside. If you want service you've gone to the wrong place, but if its just food, Georges is good.
