The Parrot Cage Restaurant, operated by Washburne Culinary Institute, offers opportunities for students to apply their skills in the kitchen and in the front of the house.
Parrot Cage specializes in modern American cuisine at affordable prices, prepared and served by Washburne Culinary Institute students. We ensure that a high standard for quality is always present from preparation to presentation. In fact, we have earned the industry’s prestigious Zagat rating of “excellent or better” for three consecutive years and our Sunday brunch has repeatedly earned the OpenTable Diners Top Choice award.
The Parrot Cage Restaurant is located in the South Shore Cultural Center – a Chicago historic landmark and architectural treasure positioned between Lake Michigan’s picturesque beach front and the lush greenery of the South Shore golf course.
