The burgers at this Midwest spot are unbeatable, but they can be a bit on the expensive side. My go-to order is the double bacon cheeseburger with ketchup and mayo only, extra bacon and cheese, paired with a medium fry and a large root beer without ice - it's so good, it would be my last meal if needed. Portillo's also offers delicious Italian beef and hot dogs with poppy seed buns, and their chopped salad is a great option for those looking for something less greasy. Plus, their shakes and chocolate cake are the perfect way to end a meal there. The service is always friendly and efficient, even during busy times, which shows great management.
