I have lunch frequently in the Glenview, IL Corner Bakery. I enjoy the food very much, but what I want to comment on is the very special young man who waits on me off and on. On 2/18/16, I was noticing that your "over and above" employee, Carlos - I do not have his last name - always smiles, always makes you feel happy (even when I was not as I had lost my husband not long ago, and have not been smiling a lot). I told him he made me feel so much better with his smile and good nature. I had been noticing for quite awhile the wonderful smile on his face at all times, his attitude to help at all times, is not something that you see very often in an establishment or elsewhere. I was getting ready to get myself a drink - he saw that I needed something, came right over to find out - got my drink and brought it right to me, as well as a cookie. All I can say is that if every business had a "Carlos" in them, no business would ever go "out of business". You are very lucky to have such a special young man. Please let him know I told you, as that is the least that I can do for a special employee!!!! Give him a raise!!!!!!
