Known as the Cheers of Itasca, Cucina Casale draws guests to its downtown spot next to the train station with an equal blend of great Italian food and intimate atmosphere. The cozy interior seats 50-60 guests who come for the alluring Italian foods. The pizza here is considered by many to be some of the best available in the area. You'll even see the owner mingling amongst the guests, as he greets diners enjoying their pastas, pizzas, drinks, and other house specialties.

The food is excellent and authentic Italian - unlike food that is passed off as Italian, like at Olive Garden. Menu offers a variety of mouth-watering appetizers, and entrees from pizza to seafood to ribeye steak.The wait staff is very attentive. We went on a Thursday night when "Vito Zatto" (comedian and singer) was performing, so the dining room was packed. Service was a bit slow but understandable due to the number of customers that night. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. And you have to catch Vito Zatto's show - he's quite the entertainer!

This place has great food and great dining room service. We went on the weekend and the bartender was a little rude but the other staff made up for it. I will for sure go back.
