I work at NU close by. I felt compelled to post a review after reading other ones on Yelp. I frequent the Subway next door and always sat at the tables outside. There is no sign so I always assumed they were for Subway patrons too. Today a lady walked out of Eppy's and blew a whistle (yes, a whistle) in my face and told me "NO SUBWAY PEOPLE!!)
I would have left it at this, but after reading other posts about the owner's treatment of minorities, even calling one woman the "n" word while walking down the street, I will never eat here again. I also saw posts of crude remarks made to women. Keeping this man in business is a shame and detrimental to the community. People should not be harassed while sitting at a table or while walking down the street. Chicago I hope you agree with me.
