I discovered some of the best carnitas in Chicago, and their salsas are simply excellent. While the service could use a friendlier touch, the freshness of the meat and produce keeps me coming back, especially on busy weekends when they sell out quickly.

If you're in Chicago and craving incredible carnitas, this is the destination for you. The fresh meats and produce are always top quality, and their cactus salad packs just the right amount of spice. Although the service could use a little warmth, the family-run atmosphere and unbeatable selection make it a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious groceries and specialty cuts.
