While dropping off a friend at O'Hare, we had the chance to revisit the revamped Local Tavern in the old neighborhood for a cocktail, and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and attentive bar staff. The lunch menu enticed us to return a few weeks later, where we enjoyed delicious fried pierogies with bacon and a filling Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, eager to explore more of the menu on future visits.
