During my visit to Colorado Springs for a conference, I explored the scenic Garden of the Gods with a mile hike before stopping by the trading post for some postcards. The staff at the trading post were incredibly friendly, adding to the positive experience. For lunch, I dined at the Balanced Rock Cafí© and enjoyed a delicious chicken club sandwich with homemade potato chips that were freshly made and not overcooked. The cafí© offers a wide variety of menu options, including burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, wraps, salads, and even a soup of the day, and the setting is peaceful and refreshing since the remodel.
