Excellent food! Generous amounts. Always felt I've gotten my money's worth when I go to Udipis. Never had a problem with the staff. They might not be hyperactively friendly but they've always been polite enough. Not sure what to make of a reviewer who would give a restaurant a bad review because a giant glass of water which may or may not be consumed was not plunked down in from of them the instant their backside slid into a chair...

Horrible experience...Service really sucks here. The other week end when we dropped, we didn't have water placed initially. When asked the reply was "wait for the water to come to you - or get out of the restaurant". We were already hungry and such a behavior by your person make us feel really bad. since then we stopped going here... Many of our friends too fell the same..
