Went there for a mid-morning breakfast with family. Server seemed to be more interested in conversation with select members of our party than actually doing her job (i.e.: getting food and drinks).

Server asked if we wanted coffee refills during the meal and we all said yes. One of us asked for decaf coffee which the server did not have in her hand, so she said she would be right back with it. We waited several minutes -- and when she had not returned we flagged her down and asked again. She then proceeded to engage in another conversation with one person in our party -- yet still no decaf. I interrupted the conversation and reminded the server that we still needed decaf coffee at our table -- and she rudely snapped back saying that she had already received the request from the person asking for it. Funny -- as the person's cup was still empty -- and the meal was almost finished. I would think that the typical response would have been, "Oh, I am so sorry for forgetting that -- let me get some for you right away --" not ... let me engage in another conversation with your party and not do my job.

I've visited this establishment in the past from time to time -- but this time was my last. Too bad for you, Penny's -- because the food is decent -- but the service not so much.
