There's a local donut shop just north of UTSW on Inwood with a large parking lot and a clean corner atmosphere. The service is very friendly, there are a few chairs and tables for seating, and the menu offers a wide selection of donuts, pastries, burritos, croissants, and more. My experience with the blueberry donut was light with not much substance, but the apple fritter was well cooked and delicious.
