you cant get a call back, the company have charged my card and have not shiped my order for two weeks!!!

I was introduced to this style of tamale in San Antonio back in the 90's. After moving to CO 20 years ago I gave up on finding tamales the way I like them. I'm not a fan of big fat tamales with LOTS of masa and very little filling and I'm not a fan a bland fillings! I have tried several Texas mail-order tamale companies and had pretty much given up on ever finding a good tamale again when I took a chance and ordered some pork tamales from Texas Lone Star Tamales in early 2020. When I received my (well packaged and VERY frozen) tamales 9 days later I was amazed! The filling-to-masa ratio was very generous and the flavor was spot-on. I've since ordered from them twice more and am running low again and will be placing another order soon. Wasn't a huge fan of their chicken tamales (too bland, but then I never really liked chicken T's), but their Pork, Beef, Beef Tenderloin are awesome. The jalepeno-cheese ones are interesting and a very good, but to me there's no sub for pork and beef. Thanks for a great product and for bringing back my fond memories of eating tamales in San Antonio :)

Lousy company who does not care about customer satisfaction. I ordered tamales and they waited a week to ship them "because I was only one shipping day away from them". as they put it. then the order arrived and my filet mignon tamales were not in the order. I was really looking forward to trying these. Very disappointed pointed. called them and was offered a store credit. I wanted my order corrected. They said no. sending me only the missing items was too small an order to ship according to them. Screw customer satisfaction they're more concerned with saving a few bucks now and forget all the future orders they'll be losing from us by not correcting their mistake so my family can have tamales on Christmas Eve. I told them I wanted my money back then because I would never order from them again and the girl could not have cared less......find somewhere else to buy your Tamales....this company will screw up the order, not answer the phone when you call, take days to return your message and refuse to right their wrongs leaving you without food for your event.
