I was an EMT in FTW during the 70s and ate at Edmondsons all the time from the Allen Ave/JPS-St Joseph Hosp exit- and Horne St restaurant... sure miss it. I think the last meal was from the Horne St store in 94,,,,sigh

I was a cook at Edmondson's Fried Chicken on Allen St in Fort Worth. The best chicken place ever. If someone will bring it back, I will love to be a cook again. Email me at goldentrain2001@yahoo.com. Please bring it back ðŸ™.

I've started eating Edmondson's delicious fried chicken when I first came to the States. The one located on Hemphill and Malta Ln. Ever since I have never eat anything close to this place.
I'm thinking they closed down or went bankrupt because of theft and back in the 80s my wife and i witnessed 3 women armed robbing that place. Edmondson's chicken needs to make a come back and show all the other places how fried chicken is supposed to be made. I can only pray for a come back!
😬🤤🤤🤤😄

Edmondson's fried chicken on E.Berry street ( Fort Worth, TX); back in the 1980's was by far the best tasting, unique, and original flavor of ANY chicken restaurant then and now. I don't know who the original owner was, but the world doesn't know fried chicken until they taste yours. It's so sad the recipe wasn't handed down.
