This is BY FAR the BEST Mexican food in DFW.
We have been all over Texas (& the country), and nowhere touches this place for good, authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. FRESH food...the salsa is made from scratch daily, and is not onion-y at all (cilantro, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos...mmm, yum). Chips are always crispy. Their chili is so unique...it's thick and does not have an overwhelming tomato-base; it's thick, meaty, and VERY flavorful (with mesa), and goes GREAT over their fresh, handmade tamales.
Oh, and the owners (the identical twins) are the most gracious, hosts (very classy, as well)...they make everyone feel very special; they have been making our family feel that way for 20+ years (and no, we're not friends...just customers).
I challenge ANYONE to find better Mexican food. Only place that comes close is Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill (NYC)...and we still prefer Ft. Worth's El Rancho Grande.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
