I have a tendency to hold grudges against well-known restaurants in Dallas that have built up a reputation over time. If I've frequented a place enough and they eventually do something to disappoint me, chances are I won't be returning. Despite my reservations about popular spots, Salum has consistently provided me with a great dining experience every time I've visited over the past 15 years, with its charming ambiance, delicious menu offerings, and attentive service.
