All my bacon cravings were satisfied during my visit, thanks to the quick service and nostalgic ambiance that reminded me of my college days. The bagel egg and cheese I ordered was loaded with bacon and tasted fantastic, making it a perfect choice for breakfast. With a great selection of sandwiches and snacks, this deli is definitely a go-to when I'm in the area.

I greatly miss the GW Deli. I lived in DC for several years and it was always one of my favorite places to get lunch. I especially miss the cheese steak sandwiches with bacon. Great stuff!!!

I work at The George Washington University and this Deli is just around the corner.
Every time I visit this deli they are courteous and polite and I really appreciate that. The distance, prices and customer service are all great, what more can a girl you ask for ;o).

After writing such a wonderful review about GW deli, I went out to get a chili dog from them. When I returned to my office the bun was black, burnt and it did not have the toppings that I requested. How disappointing!! I did not return it to the deli because I was pressed for time. If I ever return there I will make sure that I check my food before leaving.

It's all around great.

This deli is comparable to other traditional Jewish delis / groceries that I've been to. The prices are VERY good - especially considering the location. I recommend the lox and bagel (around $5) or mushroom Knish (big enough to be a meal for around $2). Folks are friendly but quirky and service is quintessential "New York" deli-style. The grocery aspect of the shop carries some tasty snacks and drinks that I haven't been able to find anywhere else.
