I should hope the afore mentioned person doesn't actuallly live in Arlington or anywhere in NOVA, DC, or MA for that matter. As far as most of us are concerned you can keep your opinions to yourself. Bob and Edith's has been a very popular mainstay for a very long time. The diner has always provided exactly that which it has offered, quick, short order menu items comprised of fresh ingredients...or alteast fresh tasting ingredients. Let's not allow the diner to be confused with some new aged high end casual dinning half breed...it is what it is and it's good at that. how about we all just go back to enjoying this arlington mainstay for what is worth...I know I'm about to!

this diner is truly an Arlington Landmark! I eat at Bob and Edith's at least 3 to 4 times each week! I definitely recommend this place!

Food was good ,very polite server. I reccomend the double bacon cheese burger or the steak and cheese sub. We eat there quite often.

About the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that it's open all night. Otherwise, the food is bad, it's dirty, service is poor and the place is poorly maintained. Every five years or so, after it's received another positive review as a late night place, I give it a try. I'm always sorry. It takes a perverse talent to ruin a plate of scrambled eggs and toast -- the folks at Bob & Edith's are always up to the challenge. It's been bad for 30 years.
