MY husband and I ate lunch at 1999 Tavern today and found the service very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and unrushed. We tried three different entrees and were quite pleased with them all (not to mention lots of left-overs to enjoy for later meals at home). The Bourbon Salmon was excellent, flavorful and juicy; Mac 'n Cheese close to our favorite homemade; tasty and not too wet coleslaw; and the Jambalaya was spicy, meaty, and one of the best we've had.
