The memories of visiting here with my parents every year are now tinged with sadness as this beloved spot has closed its doors. The cozy ambiance and delicious Polish cuisine always made it feel like stepping into a Polish grandma's kitchen. It's a loss for Hamtramck as the neighborhood continues to evolve, but the legacy of Under the Eagle will live on in the hearts of those who cherished its authentic no-frills offerings.
