Had Fish and fries. The fish was good but a little to brown. The fries was very hot and delicious.

Tellys is an outstanding restaurant with wonderful waitstaff. The food is home cooked from scratch daily, and the home made chezcake and rice pudding are to die for. Very reasonable prices. The New York strips are wonderful, and only cost around $15.00 with all the fixins, and are cooked on an open flame. Great place to eat!!!!!

The wait-staff is always friendly, the food is always great! Want a real treat...just like Mama used to make? Have the rice pudding!!! Ahhhh.... Our "go to" restaurant.

The food is delicious! Have been enjoying Telly's for many many years. The food will always get a 5 star rating BUT the drive through will sadly not.
Numerous times my husband has driven the 20 mile round trip to arrive home with the wrong order! I call and am told to bring it back and they will correct the mistake. This is all well and good BUT is a terrible inconvenience for the individual with no dinner! To add insult to injury the item is a bowl of the lemon rice soup, my favorite!
I am certain we have now spent more in gas than the price of the soup! From now on he will not leave the drive through window until each and every item is verified!

I work there and that's not true. The staff is very clean and as far as smoking in the back that's not true. You must have worked there and got fired lol! Hahahaha

My husband and I recently ate at Telly's Coney Island, we enjoyed it very much. The service was very quick and the food good. In fact we ordered more Coney Dogs to go.

This place I absolutely disgusting. They dont wear gloves in ghe kitchen they all smoke in the kitchen ashing in grease buckets. They keep there to go containers in th he empoyee bathroom and cups the men empoyees piss all ovrr the floor.The health inspectir needs to shut them down. AAbsolutely disgusting place. Oh and the cooks never was there hands after using the bathroom. I would not go there toeat for being scared to get poisened

We loved this restaurant but the last few times it is not good and the food is very overcooked. The fried chicken and French fries were cooked so long they were hard and crunchy. We will be looking for a NEW Favorite restaurant.

had a take out yesterday, first visit. Asked for extra crackers, was given two packs, asked for a glass of just ice. Was given ice water. No salt pepper or ketchup for fries, and no napkins. Wasn't impressed and won't go back.

Service was terrible I have been going to Telly's for 3 years worst food and service I have ever gotten .. They need to clean their bathrooms as well before the health inspector comes threw .

I eat at Telly's and have never had a problem with the service. If something wasn't right, it was fixed to my liking. I have never had any of the owners address me or anyone in a "Combative Tone" as the previous person had posted.
Telly's is a great family restaurant with great food, wonderful prices and large portions.
And yes, the Spinach Pie is made DAILY as they usually run out of it after the dinner rush.

I ordered a spinach pie and was disappointed with the taste. It did not taste fresh and had a rancid oil taste throughout the pie. When I spoke with the manager, she told me there was nothing wrong with it. She claimed they make it fresh each day and had a combative tone to her voice. I eat a lot of spinach pie and have never tasted anything like that. If you want good spinach pie, go to LEO's CONEY ISLAND. LEO'S serves the best. I don't plan to return to Telly's, they don't take responsibility for bad food.

The food is excellent and plentiful with a reasonable cost. The wait staff always has a smile and friendly greeting. Eveything isn't perfect which is to be understandable. When things are busy that is to be expected. So relax, sit back and enjoy a wonderful meal in a friendly atmosphere. If you go away hungry it's your own fault. I give this restaurant a top 10 rating.
