The restaurant is always bustling with a steady stream of locals, indicating its popularity. The menu offers a variety of options including cooked-to-order burgers, sandwiches, and a meat with two sides lunch special. I opted for the fried catfish with sour cream potato salad, turnip greens, and hush puppies, while my husband enjoyed the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a roll. The portions were satisfying, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the total bill for both of us came to a reasonable $30 with a tip.

Never had bad food here. Some food I like better than other. Fried chicken 4stars, Hamburger 5 stars, cole slaw 4 stars, beef tips and gravy 5 stars, fried catfish 4 stars, baked ham 4 stars, breakfasts 4+ stars, pecan pie 5+ stars"¦"¦.I could go on and on. Just stop and try for yourself.

I grew up on a farm in Ms. In my 50 yrs, no other establishment/individual/ company could compete the memory & experience growing up around a truly southern heritage passed down over many generations. Made with local produce. My entire family enjoy this feel good food. It is proven to be soul food for this household. I share memories of my great grandmother [BigMama] making tomato gravy and biscuits!!!! Because that was an item recently!!!!!!!
