The pizza quest goes on. In my on-going quest for the best pizza in town, tonight I went to Tony Sopranos. It's a large family-type place with plenty of seating very clean with plenty of seating. When I got there about 6:30 there was only one other table. The wait staff was right-on-the-spot. I got my drink within minutes and had given my order.
Again I ordered the garlic knots as the appetizer (half price today), so I got 10 for $1.50. One of them was a little crispy, but not incinerated like the ones from Bella Mia last night. Hot, tasty but not soaking in butter.
My glass was kept full without my asking.
Again as last night I ordered the Meat Lover's pie. The pizza was very very good. Hot, crisp and firm, no drooping dough here. the meat was thick and hot, there was a good layer of cheese, but not so much that it dripped off. The sauce seemed to have a sweet taste to it. So tonight was a double winner. While... not quite... as tasty as Bella Mia it was far less greasy then last nights. A great pie and a place I'll be returning too and bringing friends
