The oxtail I enjoyed was flavorful and tender, complemented by delicious sides like mac 'n cheese and fried okra. The casual atmosphere, friendly service, and great music created a welcoming environment, making it a place I look forward to revisiting for more of their authentic soul food.

I called the restaurant today to place an order after being surprised they were even open. I almost said forget it because they're showing on DoorDash! I see on google they're open. I called to place a Togo order and was told no. No, because a lot of times when it's raining people order and don't pick up. I explained that I have covid and my son was coming to pick it. Response, ok well he can come in. Irritated I said ok and sent my son there. My son returned home only to tell me they HAVE NO RIBS! No I got an entire explanation as to why I couldn't place a togo order but the owner couldn't tell he didn't have NO RIBS!!! THE RIB SHACK HAS NO RIBS! Why are you open!
