Having grown up in Queens, NY, I have high standards for pizza. Poppy's in Fort Myers satisfies my craving for a NYC-style slice with its thin crust and perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio. The online ordering system is convenient, and the friendly staff make the experience enjoyable.

Momma's white pizza was flat as a pancake; crust had no taste. Calzone had no ricotta cheese in it. Gorganzola salad was so-so.

Great pizza! Went near closing time and they still welcomed us in and did not mind to stay later. Great service and order the 30 inch pizza. You will not be disappointed.

If you're looking for a Columbus' Tommy's Pizza, Poppy's is the place. They'll even cut it into rectangles if you ask.
Thin crust, great sauce and good folks even though they're from NY.
