The stars are for the food which is good - but the service is lousy. I am a widow who still likes to go out to eat, frequently by myself. Before my husband died we used to eat out 2-3 times a week. I understand that service may be affected by the pandemic but I wish someone had apologized or at least said something (other tables with more than one person got much better service). I was brought up in the suburbs of NYC, and went into the city a lot, often going to lunch by myself. I usually take a book - in NYC I frequently had conversations with other singles eating out. I would suggest not going to this place unless you want to spend 2-3 hours here. most of the time waiting for service - I arrived for lunch around 1 p.m. It is now 3:30 and I just got home from the restaurant.

02/10/2011 - Food was junk...
The people are friendly but the food was junk. We went here with high hopes and they let us down. My wife never sends stuff back and did twice. She ordered a steak medium and both times it was very well done and uneatable. I ordered a seafood platter and could not even eat it. We dropped $40 for a three top and left hungry. Don't waste your time...

I LOVE THIS PLACE IT IS THE BEST PLACE FOR ALL SEAFOOD I LOVE THE ALL YOU CAN EAT SHRIMP
ONE TIME ME AND A FRIEND HAD AN EATING CONTEST AND I ATE 9 DOZEN SHRIMP
