The recent changes to the sauce and pizza recipes at Mel's River Pub Italian Grille have brought back the delicious flavors of the old recipes, including a tasty crust. While I'm cautious of claims about being the best, I can confidently say that this pizza ranks in my top 5 of all pizzas I've tried in Florida. The cozy restaurant, located off 309 just South of Welaka, FL, serves up a legit and satisfying pizza that comes with a Friends & Family recommendation.
