It can be challenging to resist pressure, especially when it comes from someone close to you like a parent. After indulging in vodka and wine, I proclaimed the Rookery as the top dining experience of my Florida trip. Looking back with a clear mind, I stand by that statement. The food and service were exceptional, although the ambiance was somewhat forgettable, resembling a typical upscale eatery. The cream of corn dish was a standout, and the "massively jumbo shrimp" were impressively large, nearly matching the size of my hand.
