After a morning appointment, my partner and I decided to try out Scrambles Cafe in Ocala for breakfast. Despite a minor delay in being greeted, the service was friendly and efficient once we were seated. The breakfast options were delicious, with my partner enjoying the fruit crepes and blueberry muffin, while I savored the hearty scramble and perfectly cooked fried potatoes. Overall, a satisfying breakfast experience worth returning for.

If you're looking for a place that has dog friendly outdoor dining this place offers this option. You won't be taken care of by any wait staff or any other employee from this place. Honest! I'm not exaggerating. In fact my husband went inside to let them know we were outside waiting for a server. The guy told him he'd send someone out in a few minutes. Any hoo, 45 minutes later, and about 8 to 10 customers that came and got seated inside, and let me mention there was a couple with their doggie that actually got served. Wow! I was floored!! Again we waited and waited until my husband said, let's go. No one is coming to take care of us. But I just couldn't leave without stepping inside and letting the guy, I think he was the owner or someone in authority, that we were again ignored as guests at this place. Yea, it was the second time we were blown off by this restaurant. We sat and waited forever the first time too. We finally realized no one was coming and just left.
So we left with the dimwit chasing us saying my husband didn't say anything to him about us sitting at the table outside waiting way too long!!!! So that really didn't set right with my husband. He definitely said we were waiting and no one came to wait on us. Then he says he wanted to buy our meal for the inconvenience. But it just didn't feel comfortable. We don't feel comfortable going to a place like Scrambles. They had their chances. They blew it! Twice!
We really tried to give this place another chance. But we're all done with them. We won't be back. We won't recommend them and we certainly will tell everyone about our horrible experience with this place. This place isn't the only game in town. Find another restaurant. These people are not on the ball.
