Write a Review for China House
Top Reviews of China House

I cant speak for the meat dishes, but if you are vegetarian-- China House ROCKS!
They will make just about any dish they offer with Tofu and their Country Style Tofu is to DIE for!
Ive tried just about every chinese place in town and China House is the BEST!
06/02/2012 - General No's
I cannot understand all of the good ratings of China House. I fell for the reviews and disregarded the bad ones (mistake) and placed an order for delivery. I have never eaten any more horrible Chinese food in my 35 years of life until now. For one thing, the online menu is not accurate. They said the dinners came with egg rolls, rice, sweet and sour pork or chicken (which I thought was odd but whatever). It came with nothing except 2 tea bags. Not even fortune cookies. I had to pay for the eggrolls seperately and they only come in an order of 1. I got beef with green peppers which was so so but the rice tasted like Uncle Ben's brown rice which they had burned. The kicker was that I paid 14.95$ for 'Orange Beef' that I couldnt even chew. It was totally inedible. Like trying to chew rubberish mystery meat. The 'beef' didnt even resemble the beef in the other dish I had. HORRIBLE. I thought they couldnt possibly screw up an eggroll but guess what. Although it was huge, I found (once again) that size doesn't matter. Instead of being nice shredded green shards of cabbage, it was chopped into a gazillion pieces and looked and tasted almost as bad as the orange 'beef'.
I was disgusted and quite frankly shocked that anyone would or could find this food "good". I was thinking maybe different dishes were better than others and that I just had gotten bad ones but then you still have the issue of the gross rice and egg rolls.
What gives, people? Is THIS truly the best Chinese Food you have eaten? Because if so, I feel sorry for you. :(
P.S. I'm sorry to sound unkind. It was just so dissapointing and makes no sense to me.
