08/31/2018 - Ms. Sellers
It's my favorite Chinese Restaurant ever!!!
10/07/2016 - Cyntha 77518
I will no longer eat at Oriental Grill and Buffet. The last time I ate there, their fried chicken batter was full of human hair. Told the staff about it and they did nothing. I loved eating there but will no longer take a chance.

I urge all persons with Service Dogs to boycott this restaurant!
I stopped in 10/05/15 for lunch. I am a Disabled Army Veteran, and I had Maggie, my certified/registered Service Dog with me - she was properly leashed, with a harness with patches & ID (which are NOT actually required by law!).
The Hostess refused to seat us. When I explained that Maggie was a Service Dog, she had NO IDEA - she asked another woman at the cash register, who also refused us service.
I went outside and called the Texas City PD to make a complaint. An Officer arrived promptly, and I explained the situation to him - that the restaurant had violated both Federal Law (The Americans With Disabilities Act, DOJ) and Texas State Law by refusing us service.
He was not familiar with either - but said Texas City had no city ordinances about such. I gave him a card from DOJ explaining the ADA and Service Dogs, and waited while he researched on his cruiser PC. (God, I wish we had had those when I was a cop!)
He then went inside the restaurant and explained to them that they WERE indeed violating both Fed and State Laws, and could be subject to a complaint and massive fines for refusing Service Dogs.
They then (grudgingly) invited me back inside - which I refused. I will NOT accept grudging or coerced service, and will boycott this restaurant in the future.
Again, I urge ALL Service Dog owners/handlers/trainers to boycott this restaurant!
