After not visiting for many years, I revisited a childhood favorite restaurant where the dressing brought back memories of my grandmother, the veggie plate was amazing, and the fried chicken, rib, mac & cheese, cabbage, and cornbread were fresh and delicious, though the mac & cheese lacked flavor, and despite encountering rude service from a particular staff member, the lemonade, salted caramel cheesecake, and overall experience at John's Fine Food made it a highlight of my day and a place I would definitely return to.
