02/24/2013 - Susan C
Recently I ordered Chicken Cantina Bowl 'to-go'. I was back on the interstate before realizing that there were some very hard, unusual crunchy pieces in the bowl. The pieces were so hard, I was afraid I might break a tooth. After looking more carefully, I realized the hard pieces were overcooked, dried brown lumps of rice. At nearly 2PM, it appeared that this rice had been scraped off the bottom of the pot after sitting on the heat for hours.
It was inedible but I couldn't go back so I stopped at the next Taco Bell in Acworth. Their staff informed me that the Cartersville location is a company restaurant, theirs has different ownership and they couldn't help me. The food had to be discarded.
I did complete a survey on line, explained what happened, but no response. Do these people only care about nice, pleasant surveys? A company restaurant serving inedible food and they don't care? At very least, the Acworth location should have replaced the food for no charge, and then settle up with the Cartersville location later.
So, crappy food, crappy customer service. Taco Bell has received many many if my $$$$ in the past, but no more.
