The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, with our favorites being the hamburger steak, flounder, and cheeseburgers. The hush puppies are a standout for us, always a must-order. The friendly servers and welcoming atmosphere make it worth the drive from Anderson, SC, a place we've been frequenting for over 20 years. The boneless catfish, fries, coleslaw, and those sweet hush puppies are simply unbeatable here.

This restaurant is everything it's claimed to be. I have been going there for years. I recommend this to everyone who asked about a good restaurant to eat and they all thank me for the recommendation. I also recommend the bigger dinner portion, so you will have plenty of leftovers for the next night!

This place is absolutely the best BBQ place in Lavonia! It has such a history behind it, too. I love eating at Gumlog, and wish it were open every day! The cuisine is delectable, and there is no comparison to the food at Gumlog. Service is also very respectful. Though on some Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant is packed, so make sure to call and make reservations! Overall, you get your money's worth at Gumlog, and if you're looking for a place full of southern BBQ and hospitality, Gumlog is the place to go!
