Good burger joint food prepared by fine folks. For years they've fed the teachers at Palisade High School during Parent Conference nights, asking nothing in return, just to be good town citizens. Wholesome, fresh, fast.

The food was fast, not super fancy, but good. The hostess/server and (I believe) the owner were very friendly. I was passing through on my way from Las Vegas to Chicago, and it was a good break from all the driving.
I just happened onto this site, and thought they deserved a good review.

I have been visiting Speedy's for several years. The previous owners Alex and Amy were great people, always friendly and happy to see regular customers. The resturant has now changed ownership to a man named Troy. Troy is very rude, short with customers and has raised prices on a menu that is comprised of frozen or canned food. Most of his employees have quit due to his poor attitude and overall belitteling nature. After many years of eating at the "resturant" I will never spend another dollar on poor food served with an even worse attitude! Two doors down you will find an Italian cafe that serves fresh food by people that are happy and pleasant!
