This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the coast. I live in Mexico part time and find this food to be the most authentic, the owner is from Veracruz. The dishes are varied and different from what you find in most of the Tex-Mex coast restaurants. Try the Sopa de Lima - it is an amazing chicken soup with lime that tastes just like somebody's (Mexican) grandma made! I've seen some comments about the salsa being runny - that is actually authentic Mexican salsa, the chunky one is called pico de gallo and I'm sure they would give you a dish of that if you requested it. The owner is a wonderful man who has been struggling to stay in business since Katrina, especially now that the city of Pass Christian has been doing roadwork in front of his restaurant for months. This is a great time to visit, even if you have to drive around some road construction - help keep this great coast gem in business!

Lucio's is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant! They have the best authentic Mexican food and MARGARITAS! We go on Thursday nights for their half priced margaritas.

Food was cold, it took forever to get and the plates looked sloppy. I will stick with Taco Bell.
