A new dining spot named Golden Coin has recently opened near Okinawan Center in Waipio, located next to Coffee or Tea with a prominent Now Open banner displayed on the window. The convenience of having a Golden Coin nearby eliminates the need to travel to Waipahu or Wahiawa for Filipino cuisine. The menu is clearly displayed at the serving counter, making it easier for patrons, especially those unfamiliar with Filipino dishes, to choose from a variety of options such as pork guisantes, pork adobo, bihon noodles, chicken with squash soup, kare-kare, and halohalo dessert drink topped with ube ice cream. Additionally, Golden Coin offers a selection of pastries including crispy lechon, cascaron, bibingka, and more for customers to enjoy.
