I recently discovered Mack's BBQ SAUCE, SOLD ONLINE AT AMAZON UNDER THE NAME "CAIRO BBQ SAUCE". The label on the bottle says " Killebrew Supply CO., PO Box 3, Murphysboro, IL 62966. It tastes the same as I remember and I was so happy to find it.

I was born in Cairo in 1948 and ate at Mack's all my life. I still crave their bbq sandwich on white bread toasted with their incredible sauce. I moved away but had relatives mail me the sauce wherever I was. If anyone knows the recipe or if it is in production somewhere, please email me at bahbahlen@att.net. I've made the copy cat recipe on line and it is close. Btw, I'm cousin to Susan Bateman, if anyone remembers her.
