We found a cozy spot for breakfast in town with delicious homemade food like perfectly cooked eggs, sausage, and biscuits. The prices were fair, and we enjoyed the small-town vibe and friendly service. I'd definitely return for another satisfying meal if we're ever in the area again.

Old style "fast food" sans the very fast. A throwback to the golden era when they don't cook a burger until you've ordered it; which helps hold down prices as they'll never have a backlog of finished burgers unsold at closing time and sent out to the homeless shelter at a total loss.

The only thing on a "warmer" at Burger Nook are their daily special simmering big pots of chili or dumplings or spaghetti.
I haven't been there since 1994 so it's possible they've upgraded their building. My memory is that you basically parked and ordered at a window and waited unless you wanted to try your luck at the limited seating inside.

We came in on a Sunday and they greeted us with a smile, the menu had a great selection. they had more than just burgers. My chicken and dumplings was the daily special and they had the best homemade dumplings i have ever had. the service was prompt, accurate, and pleasant. Thanks for a wonderful experience will stop again when i am traveling through!
